We spent a very enjoyable hour for a wine tasting with Rowan, learning about both Escarpment’s wines and history. It is a rare treat to spend so much time at a tasting with someone who is very much involved in the creation of a wonderful product, and whose passion for the winery is contagious. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to Escarpment and their wines are superb 😊

Despite there was no more vacancy for a tasting shown online, my e-mail was positively (and very friendly) replied and we got our short tour and tasting. Excellent expertise, great wines and what a nice way to start a Tuesday. As the tasting fee was waved when buying a wine, we couldn't hold back 😉 Still I'd recommend to book a tasting in advance and DO support these lovely winemakers!

I am extremely disappointed with our latest tasting. We come regularly and buy their wine often. Escarpment has always been in the top tier of the region and one of our highlights of the trip. Our host barely had an engagement with our group who were here to buy wine. We still bought some but only because knew from the past the wine was great, not cause of the experience. Likely would have bought more and later if we had a bit of a one on one like a lot of bookings we had in the region. Long story short. Wine is awesome but the service is very lacking now days. Please improve we love your wines!!!

Extremely professional and a beautiful selection (flight) of wines. Also loved the pairing with different food. Woukd be an incredible place to stay with swimming pool, tennis court, restaurant and plenty of lovely wine!
