Visit The Runholder cellar door for a relaxed tasting with Martinborough Vineyard Winemaker Tom Turner. He will pour his preferred Martinborough Vineyard wines and discuss the winery, the wines, and the Wairarapa region. The tasting costs $25 per person; no reservations are necessary.

The Runholder is a restaurant in Martinborough offering charcoal-grilled seafood, prime cuts, and shared plates from our à la carte menu for winery lunch or dinner. We are home to Te Kairanga, Martinborough Vineyard, and Lighthouse Gin, with a tasting room, cellar door, and gin distillery overlooking rolling hills and vineyards. We provide wine tasting flights from Te Kairanga and Martinborough Vineyard, and gin tastings or cocktails from Lighthouse Gin. Our menu celebrates local produce.
