Lovely site to visit or stay great freedom Camping spot, public toilets available, dump station for campers available free including water. The Friday farmers market is held there weekly on the amp Showgrounds side from 3.30pm to 6 pmish. Depending on season re time. 15 mins Walking distance into town
Been for the A and P show. Lots of street parking and a fun day out for Mr 2. He had a blast on the tractors and diggers and the yummy ice-cream
Avocado and wine festival. Not to be missed next January 2024. Bring your own chairs. Food, water and beverages available from vendors. Great day out
The Katikati Avocado Festival took place today with thousands of people attending from many parts of the North Island. Thanks to the Katikati lions Club who were responsible for running this festival and other various people and organizations who assisted to make it a roaring success. Side events with many foodstalls and sales areas of everything imaginable. Good and safe for kids with side events for kids only. I could ramble on but you must get the message.
Beautiful arvo' in the sun! Maybe not as many people today. V enjoyable
