Visiting from Australia and could not find a coffee shop that did lactose free milk here in NZ. So happy to come across Robert Harris this morning on our walk. My daughter says this was the best iced maple vanilla latte she has ever had. Hot chocolate was great too. Thank you ☺️

It’s always so nice to stop here after a long journey. The staff are very hospitable and the place is very clean. The food is also fabulous.

​We stopped in at Robert Harris in Katikati for a quick breakfast. The cafe was almost empty and looked great, really nice and clean throughout. Our coffees came out fast, but they were just ordinary with an "ok" factor at best. ​The meals were a real letdown for the price they charge. The execution just wasn't there. The Big Breakfast only looked big because of two huge, oily pieces of fried bread. The sausages were the smallest and most tasteless we have ever tried, and the two fried eggs were tiny and way overcooked. ​The second meal, the kumara smash, was totally bland and came with those same two massive pieces of oily fried bread. It is a nice-looking spot, but the main ingredient, the food, needs to be much better to justify a visit.

Absolutely lovely experience at Robert Harris Katikati. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and so welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious and beautifully done, exactly what you want with a great coffee stop. A special mention to the team for going above and beyond when my son accidentally lost his ring down one of the bathroom basins. The staff were incredible, so kind, calm, and determined, and they managed to retrieve it for him. It meant the world to him, and to me. Exceptional service, wonderful food, and truly caring people. We will absolutely be back.
