See doves, ducks, geese, and peacocks in our Aongatete gardens
Take time to visit, and make sure you buy lots of bird food!! I haven't laughed so much for ages!! Beautiful white doves, eating out of my hand. A wide variety of ducks, geese, peacocks. AND we got to enjoy coffee and a Devonshire "Tea".
I loved walking in theae gorgeous gardens.. It was peaceful, beautiful and the birds were a bonus.
We didnt plan to come here, but while we were passing, we thought we would take a look. It was $13 pp, which is really good we paid a couple of dollars for some bird feed. Before we went to look round We sat on the porch and had a Devonshire tea, it was really tasty. The fun part was feeding the Chickens and the pigeons, the pigeons just fly upon yourself, anywhere they perch, it was good fun and made is both laugh.
A great family outing. You need to take your time and enjoy the sights otherwise you get around it pretty quick. The birds weren't very exciting this time around, not one bird flew that we looked at! Oh besides the pigeons in the playground lol But was nice to walk around the grounds and ponds etc
This place is enchanting. Amazing birds full of character, our two boys loved them (they climb on you so he prepared for that!) Cool Balinese style furniture and bits and pieces that make it feel like a big adventure. Two male peacocks and a bunch of females so they do they whole tail thing. Cool playground, charming parrots that talk. Incredible garden walk with exotic and local plants. It's really a gem and wish we'd known about this sooner!
