Had an amazing cheese scones and husband said his date scone was the best he'd had in a long time. Would definitely go back again for scones. Nobody else at cafe which was sad for the owners especially since in was lunchtime

Amazing food, from the selection to the presentation and flavours!! If you like custard squares these are the best I’ve ever had. Yes I have been back repeated times just for the custard square. Service is wonderful very pleasant staff.

There was only two of them on so you could tell they were rushed. It took a long time for our food to come. Smashed avocado was nice. Bread needed to be toasted more. Creamy mushrooms were ok but again bread needed to be toasted more. Coffee was perfect! Nice and hot!

Came through with my parents on the way to Tauranga and we all agreed that CHROME CAFE was fantastic. The delicious home-made food (none of us left anything on our plate!) ,was not only super tasty but priced really well. The ladies who who served us were lovely warm and friendly. I don't EVER do reviews when I go out to eat, but , i was so stoked with my eggs Benedict and overall experience, that I wanted to share/recommend this place.

We stopped in for bunch for the second time in two weeks. The food was hot, delicious and beautifully presented. The service and atmosphere both wonderful. The coffee to die for, a good coffee is becoming a rarity these days! We will be back!
