Such a comfortable, relaxed course that initially I was apprehensive about as thought it would go over my head but I left feeling confident that I too cab become a professional groomer! Meg is so welcoming & wants her students to also love what she does.. GREAT, hands on introduction to dog grooming 🐾
I recently completed the Certificate Course at the NZ Pet Grooming Academy and it was an amazing experience! Meg, our trainer, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about grooming. She provided hands-on training with a wide variety of dog breeds, teaching us not only the technical skills but also how to handle dogs with care and compassion. The course was well-structured, and I appreciated the small class sizes, which allowed for plenty of one-on-one guidance from Meg. I now feel confident in my grooming abilities and ready to start my journey in the field. Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn about dog grooming! 5 stars!
I attended the NZ Pet Grooming Academy 3 day course. The course was hands on and practical. I have gained valuable knowledge from Meg and Karyn during the course. But the standout for this training has been Meg's ongoing support and mentoring. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her at the academy.
I had the pleasure of attending the NZ Pet Grooming Academy Greytown. Meg is an outstanding teacher trainer, who puts you at ease very quickly with her practical teaching methods. This enabled me to settle into the lessons ready to learn and soak up Megs knowledge. Months after attending my course, Meg has continued to be my mentor. I highly recommend Megs course.
I wanted to train as a groomer and found this training provider, affordable and accessible, I found I gained skills and the experience definatly helped me decide if it is a career I really wanted to do. Post lock down I'd been searching for a training provider but al too far away and very high fees. With skills learnt I felt more confident and the follow up is great, the tutor is passionate about providing affordable access to the pet grooming industry and with follow up training that can be tailored to your needs, after the 3 days I practiced what i had learnt and wanted to have some further training around a particular style and the tutor was awesome made time for me to really learn. It's a practical course and saftey paramount so I felt confident that I could groom safley and if I needed more skills or experience different breeds follow up opportunity was there. Since completing this training I've gone on to create my own grooming salon and following the sane low stress pet centerd grooming style I learnt on this initial course :) Highly recommend for people wanting to get started in an industry that is otherwise very expensive/hard to get into.
