Used to be a great spot until the new owners took over. There has Been a steady decline in food quality including raw chicken in my last visit and gross milkshake syrups. Hours say open until 7:30 but have been closed before 7 the last few times I have attempted to go. Sadly won’t be going back anytime soon.
This is a regualr spot for my family and I. We have seen an unfortunate decline in the quaity of the hot chips. These were once the best chips in town but are now bland, underseaseosned, sometimes undercooked, over priced for what they are and over all below average. Service can be mixed, its never rude but, sometimes, especially if it's busy the staff show their frsutrations and the quality of customer service suffers, though this is somewhat understandable when short staff and under exteme pressure. However, the burgers are excellent and the quality matches price point. The burgers here are by far some of the best in the region and never fail to please. I must say the pork belly burger is one of the best burgers I've had. The fried chicken is good, butter chicken sauce is nice and pairs pretty well with the fried chicken. If the chips were better this place would be hard to beat, but as it stands we and other families we know around town choose to buy burgers here and cook our own chips at home which sort of defeats the the point of a night off from the kitchen. Anyway, please improve the chips.
The young lady at the counter wasn’t very friendly. I asked what is in the double trouble as the menu outside doesn’t specify. She paused, looked up at the inside menu board and said “2 scoops of gelato” like it was a inconvenience I didn’t know the menu the first time being there. Very blunt in all her responses. Asked if I wanted to eat in or takeaway, I said eat in, she gave us our waffle in a takeaway container. I said thank you and she didn’t say anything. Waffle was quite nice, had good toppings. Could be crispier. The young lady with red hair could do with better customer service, she was rude. We won’t be back because of the service.
Great place to fill up on some good food and gelato. The Stracciatella was very tasty. The young man who served me was very kind and friendly. Will definitely be coming back
This sweet treat spot is a fantastic choice, especially if you’re gluten-free or dairy-free. They have quite a few options, and all of their sorbets are surprisingly creamy and full of flavour. The gelato and ice cream varieties are great too — not overly sweet, but pleasantly refreshing, making them perfect for a summer day. Standout flavours include the Indian Summer yogurt with turmeric and the Biscoff, which are absolute must-tries. The staff are really friendly and encourage you to sample flavours before choosing your favourite. They also offer fresh waffle cones and coffee
