About

Greytown Distilling Company is a manufacturer in Greytown, crafting a range of unique gins. We offer curated pours and tastings for our guests, showcasing our different gin varieties. Our team creates special flavors like Beekeeper's Gin, made with honey, lavender, and rose, and Fireside Gin, often mulled with spicy apple. We also use 10 kilos of Greytown apples in every handmade batch of certain products. We produce various gins, including Associated Farming Gin and Tweed, and some of our creations have been recognized internationally, with one gin judged in London as one of the world's Top 50 Gins.

Friends brought us to the GDC and we're very glad they did. Had a lovely time sampling different gins. The lady who expertly served us was knowledgeable and easy to chat to. She made some fine suggestions based on our preferences. And we brought home (UK) some delicious souvenirs. The containers being metal can stay in the freezer and make a very refreshing tasty drink. I've got an idea of filling them with sand or stones and use them as bookends. We had the pleasure of meeting the man behind the yummy gins. Peter loves what he creates and seems he is well supported by an enthusiastic community. It was hinted that they are looking at distributing to the UK! Can't wait to order the samples box. Too many to choose from. 😁

I haven't been to the Distillery, but I recently purchased the Beekeepers Gin. It's glorious. You get the honey, you get the lavender and you get the rose. I will definitely be sampling more of the range. It's absolutely banging.

Tasting during Greytown Christmas weekend , so many choices including a sample of the wonderful Fireside Gin mulled with spicy apple… great for winter warming. Was lucky enough to receive a gift voucher as part of our girls weekend … so came away with a great selection of the tin options.

We popped into the tasting shed in the early afternoon on the second day of Greytowns lovely winter festival. We were lucky enough to be treated a gin tasting with the business owner (I’m really sorry to not catch your name), who was the kindest and most lovely bloke. We tried the Associated Farming Gin, the Tweed, and the Fireside gin. Each gin was so delicious, with clear and unique flavours. Honestly words can’t describe the joy the owner had describing his ingenious and delicious gin. We learnt a lot, and even enjoyed a brief chemistry lesson and watched the blue beekeeper gin turn PURPLE when tonic was added. So Magic. So fun. We’d love to have bought all the gin, but left with the Tweed, though the others were immediate seconds. These guys have done so well, winning international gin awards in their first two years of business, and rightly so. Such a hard working and locally supporting guy at the heart of it. So awesome. Check it out! Do it!
