A magical evening! We brought my parents here from Wellington to see the Christmas lights, and they were so impressed. The displays are beautiful (the dinosaurs and rabbits were a highlight), and the hot chocolate was amazing in the cold weather. It’s a bit of a trek to find parking, and it took us about 20 minutes to find a spot close enough for my elderly parents, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Overall, a really fantastic outing and highly recommended!

My husband and I renewed our vows in the Cobblestone Museum Church on the 13th of September this year. It was an absolute dream communicating our wishes to Julie Mcghie (the Museum Co-ordinator). She always replied to our (many) questions in a timely and warm manner. We can’t think of anything that Julie and the team could have changed to improve the experience! They were incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process and the ceremony itself went very smoothly. Sending a massive thank you from Germany!

Such a wonderful little museum! Great for schools, families & people just interested in how we lived 100 years ago. The family home that would've housed 10 children was a real eye opener!

Great place for all ages to visit. Lots of interesting facts and things to see about the History of the Settlers. Beautiful and Peaceful. A must see. 😊

Really enjoyed our visit. Great insights into the lives of early settlers. We spent a couple of hours here. Recommended.
