We always use A&K Plumbing and the plumbers are always so polite and do a good Job. Ethan especially was a lovely young plumber, who I would be happy for my daughter to bring home as a "date". (Many of us mothers always assess your men in this way.) Although I must agree with an earlier reviewer that the travel/ute charge seemed a little high for a local plumber not travelling very far at all. Otherwise great!

I give 5 stars for being punctual and workmanship. But disapointing that even with a T&Cs document I was billed an additional 1/2 hour which is supposedly for travel, admin time and for the tech to familiarize himself with the job? Seriously!!! Most companies don't charge travel expenses if the client lives 10 - 15 minutes away ...my house is 11 - 12 minutes away ...so I was obviously billed for the return trip as well + admin fees. Who knows, the next client also may have paid for the return trip.

We booked A & K to upgrade our van to become applicable with the new green warrant card. We were told via phone and email that we were booked for the entire day so that they could carry out required work so expect them to take our vehicle for ‘several hours’. This was fine and we made necessary arrangements as we were travelling in from Wellington. On arrival to the store at 7:45 am we were told that they did not have the necessary parts to do the job and they did not have any laborers on to do the work and so all we got was an assessment. The assessment was helpful and they answered our questions however the lack of communication in leading up to the service was very poor and we did a wasted 2 and a half hour journey for nothing.

I used A&Ks online form to ask if a few issues I had fell within their expertise. Lisa called me the same morning to say that Scott could come for a look and diagnose our problems. Communication was great and when Scott arrived, we found him to be very friendly and he cracked in to the work. Invoicing was quick (which I appreciate) and clearly broken down so I could understand the costs. Many thanks to the team.

We got a small job done by A&K in the kitchen to refit the kitchen sink and drainage. Scott did a great job - very friendly, professional, and very willing to help and go the extra mile to fix a couple of issues we had. It was easy to book the job with them - the Admin person who took my call was very helpful and their booking system very efficient emailing out the booking confirmation. I would highly recommend A&K.
