Yes rooms are out dated but unlike any and I mean any even the big name hotels the bathroom was nice and WARM. Every bathroom I've ever been in is ALWAYS COLD. Room and bathroom was clean although there was a few lil and I mean lil bugs like hard to see and take pictures of because they was so very tiny tiny moving around on bathroom floor I got them with Kleenex and seen no more.
I was quite, bed and pillows was comfortable. Pillows was think also. They have shampoo, conditioner and body wash on wall. It was a walk in shower plenty of room to even shave my legs. A light was in shower to see also. But the sink water to turn on way opposite way lol the remotes to turn volume up and down and channels was opposite too haha. PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE THE ONE LAYER SANDPAPER TOILET PAPER!!!! I started using the Kleenex because it wasn't SANDPAPER I just threw it in trash can so it wouldn't stop up toilet...
Show moreA dated non-smoking room that had all the essentials.
I live in the neighborhood and stayed here when my home electricity and Internet were out. I stayed in a king room with a lounger and desk with microwave and refrigerator. Generally very clean.
The bathroom had a fan, which is a nice amenity for a hotel room this old. The toilet and tub/shower are in their own room with a door separate from the sink. The toilet was very low, but worked fine. There was no soap in the bathroom sink so I had to put soap in my hand from the shower body wash to wash my hands. I was able to ask for soap at the front desk no problem. It was a non-smoking room, but had an odor that I quickly got used to it. If you have a scent sensitivity, don't stay here.
There was a plug for a charger at the desk and wall plugs behind each of 2 bed nightstands with a lamp on each with space to plug in a charger that worked if you had a charger cord of at least 18 inches. There is no regular TV. There is a flat screen monitor that allows you to access a Roku interface that allows you to sign into any of the streaming services that you subscribe to. There are instructions to access local channels through the HDMI port, but I found the buttons on the regular remote mostly nonresponsive. The Roku remote worked fine, though it was dirty, and I had to clean it. That was the only dirt I saw in the room.
The lounger, desk, and the chair were comfortable for a plus size person. The bed was very comfortable but a little tall for me as a 5'8" person. There were instructions for the heating and cooling but I could not get them to work. It appeared to be locked out. There is a wall unit air conditioner at the end of the unit by the bathroom, not sleeping area. There is a window in the front which is to the open air hallway on the second floor and another small window near the bathroom. There are no sheers so it is either open or closed. There was a suitcase holder open to hold luggage. There is no closet, but a wardrobe with a few drawers and a small closet.
An American-menu sports bar called Crave is next to the hotel in the same parking lot. It opens at 11 and serves luncheon dinner. That is a nice amenity, too.
I stayed for two days. I got a very good deal, which provided a value. I was happy to go home, however. I would recommend this hotel for budget-minded people (under $100/night) who don't have a problem with dated everything in a hotel room and can get over a little bit of a room smell and no cable TV.
