A nice, well presented campsite, with a lovely pool area, great slides, and good hedges/greenery throughout. We stayed in a premium Otello mobile home with a jacuzzi. The difficulty with the placement of these premium mobiles (521-513) is a). they back on to the D83 which is noisy and b). they back on to the equestrian centre which is also noisy but also generates vast numbers of flies which we couldn't get rid of despite using two bottles of Raid and keeping the door closed. The Otello itself is not new and will need refreshing in a couple of years' time, it is showing its age and is not as nice as newer Taos models in other sites. The entertainment looked good fun although we didn't participate as our level of French is not great. The restaurant was a bit disappointing. The local town Les Barcares is totally dead, except on market mornings; it is in the process of being improved but really it is very depressing being there in the first couple of weeks of June, like a ghost town. The other towns around aren't much better. It is a long walk to the town or beach, but the cycling paths are excellent. There are good activities in the area such as paddle boarding and other water sports. I probably wouldn't choose to return - more because of the area rather than the campsite which was pleasant generally and the aquatic area was very good. In terms of the operator, this was our first time with MS Vacances, they are ok but a few annoying things - inventory missing items when we arrived (why don't they check this themselves), cleaning fee €170 with a long list of things to clean and fines if you don't - but it's cheaper to pay the fines than the cleaning cost!! Never had this at other French run campsites including Yelloh, Sandaya and Resasol. Otherwise the staff were very pleasant and good to deal with.

We are just back from a week long stay the first week of September, classed as low season so the prices were very reasonable. We were an English/Spanish speaking family of 5 with 3 kids aged 9, 5 & 1 plus a dog. Postives: - very well kept campsite, most things appeared new & very clean - quick check in with welcome bag - the Nirvana Classic caravan was small but modern & clean & equipped with all you needed - family vibe, no late nights, rowdy behavior or drinking around the pool area - brilliant pools, lots to keep every age entertained (splash pad, slides, lazy river, jacuzzis, little kid areas) - free sauna & steam room for adults - lots of sun loungers, shade/sun options - superb play park & inflatable/trampoline area as well as sports zones - mini golf/padel/ping pong all included - fresh crossiants to buy in the shop each morning - being able to bring our dog was great (€42 charge) - laundrette on site - MS Snacks pizza was the best pizza we've ever eaten - kids ate free one night in MS Resto (and food was also delicious) - horse stables that are accessible through the campsite & give discounts for horse rides (my daughters highlight!) - full schedule of activities still running in low season - definitely has a 5 star campsite feel to it - closest town was lovely with an amazing play park - nice bike routes in the area - Lidl, Aldi, McDonalds were very close by car Negatives: - lack & inconsistency of life guards felt unsafe/stressful & when they were there they didn't pay much attention; this felt shocking for any pool but especially one with big slides in a fancy campsite - bike rental was expensive & only available in the morning - laundrette expensive (€5.50 for one wash) - bar/games area could do with updating - padel court booked up fast - mini golf course was very difficult/impossible for kids - beach/town was a long walk with kids, better by bike or in a car (but a shuttle bus is available) - 10am check out was tricky when you are expected to do such extensive cleaning (if I had payed high season prices I would be annoyed at having to clean so much) - weather first week of September was often cloudy & too cold for the water park - as expected but the shop on site was expensive - evening entertainment was disappointing, we've been to campsites with better shows (was also only in French) Overall we were really impressed with the site. Our kids all loved it & are already asking to go back.

What an experience in this venue! They have incredible people who host events throughout the day! There is a fitness instructor… which for us was a life saver ( especially with the bakery next door) and Axel definitely is one of the best trainers that we know. He breaks down each exercise, making sure you know it… beginner through to expert level! Meeting you at your level with a little progression… For all racquet sports the reception offers it at no extra cost. The pitch is paid for during high season. But ping pong is freee…. ;) Pétanque and molky are also provided. They have a kids club where you can register and drop the children off for certain hours of the day! Which I found helpful at the start to get things organised. While the kid was entertained. As mentioned by other reviewers - for the guys and boys only tight swimwear allowed. They are afraid people use it all day and come to pool with the short types swimsuits. There are plenty of food shopping places (Lidl, aldi, and Intermarché (bigger)) I would do the big shop in Lidl and then if you miss something go to Intermarché. There is also a bigger gym for those that want it and next to that a vegetable market. And there is also a bakery next door. Marie blancere! You’ll thank me… (or not) the selection of pastries, tarts and cakes…. There is a McDonald’s… open until 3am The venue provides a schedule train for excess to the beach. The beach is somewhat pebbled. If you are driving and don’t mind… would recommend Lydia beach… sand beach it’s still coarse. But at least better than where the train drops you. I personally did not appreciate having to make my bed or cleaning the place… not that we would not have left it in a decent state…. Just the added stress to ensure that it was left better than when we received it….. but I guess it is what it is… it is our first time doing something like this and if this is what is termed as camping.. one can get use to it. 😏

Camping Club MS Les Tamaris have very helpful reception staff who speak fluent English. We being a family of 3, who speak little French struggled around the rest of the park to communicate with other members of staff. The facilities on this park for children ages 0-14 are incredible, you cannot fault the facilities/cleanliness on the parc. A few grumbles, France don't allow you to wear standard swimming shorts in the pool, or this particular park does not allow you to take food such as an ice cream in to the swimming complex, which when its 30 degree heat is frustrating as neighboring countries allow this. The beeches around this part of France are incredible Argles around 30/40min drive is the pick of the bunch. We drove into Spain too where everything is half the cost. Pint in complex 8 euro. Coke 3/4 euro. Cocktails 9-12 euro. French food in local supermarket which is Lidl is over priced compared to the UK pack of beef mince is 9/10 euro, I actually wonder how the French people in this area afford to live, as jobs look limited to tourist season. Another grumble is having to clean your apartment after your stay or face getting fined. Why don't you just hire cleaners like our parks in the UK to. Beware NO OVENS in lodges etc. The bathroom always smells like wet farts/rotten eggs. All in all the park is great value for the money, but after accumulating costs for French food meals etc. Its better to get an All inclusive to Majorca or Greece etc. A few minor changes could make this place faultless, but the price of France compared to other countries is defo off putting.

Good camping. We visited during the end of season (end september) in a premium 6p cottage. In summary: Positives: - very clean and modern park - large swimming pool which offers enough for all ages. Again very clean - small park. But offers a various program of entertainment, restaurant and small shop - the cottage has enough space and the patio and plancha are a great addition - bakery and supermarket nearby Negatives: - the park is situated in between two busy N-roads (80km/h). Depending on the location of your cottage, you quite well hear the cars passing by. It does get used to, after some days. Improvement possibilities: - our sofa was sagging - the cottage was not leveled. Although a repairman fixed it a bit, it was not completely fine - the entertainment (during low season) in the evening is scheduled every night except saturday. Although it was supposed to stop at 23.00 we often experienced music noise until 23.45-00.00. Not great when travelling with young children.
