We visited the chapel of Notre Dame du Château. The young woman at the hermitage gave us a very warm welcome. We hope all her projects come to fruition. It was a wonderful and enriching encounter.

There's nothing to see except hideous housing developments; this so-called village is more like a soulless, lifeless suburb of a big city. Don't waste your time unless you like concrete.

This former Catalan village seems to have become a kind of commuter suburb in the hands of property developers who have little regard for preserving the soul, spirit, or identity of what was once a haven of peace. The village has lost all identity and authenticity.
