A charming French pastry shop with high-quality, flavorful products. The pains au chocolat, croissants, and baguettes are delicious, crispy, and fresh. They also have a wide variety of pastries and breads, perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or taking something special home.

Great, friendly shopkeepers, just the way we like them, good products—not frozen and straight from a map—always important in a village! And a nice bonus: a space to have breakfast there 👌🏻

Disappointed with this bakery, unless it's a hot spot? The times I've been there:
- No more baguettes at 11:00 AM.
- Only one chocolate éclair left at 8:45 AM.
- No quiche or pizza at 11:30 AM. The only savory option was small quiches for one person. And it was impossible to get two of the same flavor.
- At 8:30 AM on a Sunday morning, for dessert after a small family meal, there were no tarts or cakes for several people. Only fougasses, or individual slices at €4.50 each. For 6 people, that's €27, so I passed.
Conclusion: Not enough choice, not enough quantity, even early in the morning. Prices not good.
Reply to the company:
1: The times I went weren't only before Christmas.
2: I didn't call to place an order; you've got the wrong person. No wonder, because when I came in you were on the phone (I should point out it was a personal, not a business, conversation). You barely looked at me and struggled to say goodbye, which I had to repeat twice so you'd hear me.
3: My reviews are always justified, whether good or bad. I invite readers to go and check for themselves. :)
4: €5 for an éclair? No, I've never seen that, and it doesn't justify the prices you charge. It's not a constructive remark.
5: No, Madam, I'm not going to Intermarché, but to other bakeries simply because you're the only one I've visited that's so often disappointing.
6: I understand better now... The fact is that despite the negative reviews, you don't seem to care. You allow yourself an attitude, both in person and in your responses to customers, that demonstrates a rare rudeness in the business world. The bakery isn't empty because it's artisanal, madam. Even less so because it's crowded at 7:00 a.m.
It's a very difficult profession, I agree (perhaps too difficult for you), but it's simply a matter of managing your stock according to supply and demand. You didn't open yesterday, and I'm not the only one telling you this. No excuses. Learn to run your business, that's all. Even if it's hard to hear when you walk in, it's not at all inviting.
I hope your animosity won't show in your interactions with customers. I'm the one who suggests you go and see how your competitors operate, hoping that it will inspire you.
I still hope to see you bounce back from these remarks and that one day I'll be able to enjoy a truly good bakery in Sorède. One last word: Remain professional.
