I returned to Camping Cala Gogo after great memories of camping there myself in my teens. We are a family of six- two adults and four children (8-13 years) and had a super holiday here. I’d love to have stayed even longer! We were on a ‘Confort’ pitch which meant we were a stone’s throw from both the beautiful beach, and the swimming pool. We spent our days strolling between both, keeping cool in the Mediterranean Sea or having fun on the waterslides and in the three pools. The campsite is well-maintained with a well-stocked and reasonably priced supermarket, along with a beach shop too where we invested in rash vests, footballs, bracelets and inflatables! The washrooms are impeccable- our pitch was quite close to them and so we witnessed and heard first hand the extent of cleaning done here, day and night! There is security on site, and a wonderful atmosphere in the campsite bar area thanks to the amazing staff and animation team. We have never met such friendly, fun and attentive bar staff- they really deserve a mention and acknowledgment as they contribute hugely to the atmosphere on site. There are lifeguards at the pool and on the beach. As independent campers we enjoyed the mix of nationalities visiting the site, and would highly recommend Camping Cala Gogo to those seeking a relaxing beach holiday on a very well-managed and well-run campsite

+/+ Beautifully located with the beach right next to it, this camping has a fantastic swimming pool with water slides, and lovely, helpful staff. -/- Sanitary blocks are really dirty. They don’t get cleaned regularly, and they’re infested with little drain flies. The drinking water point nearest to us is used a public ashtray with cigarette butts lying around. For a 5 star camping all this is unacceptable. We’ve stayed at 3 star campgrounds but never seen this level of lack of hygiene. There’s also lots of noise in the evenings because of either animation on the camping but also surrounding the camping. Bring ear plugs!

Lovely sized campsite, good facilities and the team are great especially at the bar. The pool is fantastic and heated so always nice to go in. The slides are a winner for both kids and adults. Nice beach but just to advise others, the entry to the sea is stoney so uncomfortable with bare feet. The plot size that we had was ideal with plenty of shade as well as sun. The power supply was also solid. The only criticism is that the toilet and shower block by us could do with updating. But the water was hot and working at all times so that was great.

The location of the campsite is great. Right on the beach, it couldn't be better. The camper pitches are ok. Nothing special. I give the 3 stars because of the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. It was more than just borderline. Some of the toilet paper was on the floor in the same place for 2 days. That was very disgusting. The restaurant and pool were ok. The pool has 2 slides. If you have a camper pitch near the pool it can be very noisy. Wifi quality is very poor. Overall, a partial renovation of the site would be necessary. The fact that the campsite has 5 stars is still incomprehensible to me. 3 stars would be more in line with reality.

Had a great two weeks at Cala Gogo. Lots of positives: 1. Lovely and helpful staff. 2. A great location (10 minutes safe cycling to a beautiful and lively marina /30 minutes family cycle to Argeles). 3. Always hot water in showers/washing-up. 4. Amazing pool area (superb slides). 5. 2 minutes drive to Aqualand. 6. Beautiful beach location. 7. We had a large touring caravan pitch. 8. Great on-site supermarket. 9. Nice bar and good take away. 10. Mix of nationalities . Some areas for improvement (but still a great place): 1. Showers/toilets not quite as clean as could be....and could do with more staff cleaning them. 2. Weeds and dead plants not removed 3. 'beach bar' not on beach properly so can't see the Sea. 4. Pitches near the beach are quite small and not as attractive as other pitches near reception. 5. Entrance is a bit off-putting (but don't let it put you off)). Overall a great stay but just lacking some of the shine of the most impressive sites.
