Le moulin de la Pave

Le moulin de la Pave is an historic mill in Laroque-des-Albères, dating back to the High Middle Ages. Our flour mill is located along the rech dels molins, a 2279-meter water canal on the northern slope of the Albéra that once powered up to four mills. This water system was later adapted to power an electrical plant in the 19th century, making Laroque one of the first municipalities in the department to use electricity.
