The site was spotless, and Patrick, the owner, is fantastic. We arrived on January 10th and left on February 3rd. Initially, we planned to stay for one or two nights. There's so much to do in the area. Don't hesitate to go! Shops, buses, hiking trails, a cycle path to Argeles beach and beyond. You won't have a moment to be bored. Absolutely perfect.

After spending a little over two months at this site to explore the region, I can say there's absolutely nothing to complain about. The owner is incredibly kind and always ready to help (thank you, Patrick!). The site has everything you need to feel very comfortable: perfect shade and exceptional beauty spread over two levels, all for a very reasonable price! The village is magnificent, with all the shops being very pleasant (butcher, bakery, grocery store, excellent pizzeria, pharmacy, post office, tobacconist, bars, restaurants – basically everything you need to be comfortable, not to mention the Intermarché supermarket 3 km away and a laundromat (washing machine and dryer). I'll be back soon, and if I could, I'd be there already! Thank you, Patrick, thank you to the town, thank you to all the shopkeepers! Attached is a photo of Mount Canigou from the Château de Laroque-des-Albères.

Peaceful service area in a natural setting! Just a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride from the center of Laroque-des-Albères, where you'll find all the necessary shops (bakery, butcher, grocery store, post office, market every Wednesday morning, takeaway pizzas, newsagent/tobacconist, restaurants, tourist office, etc.). The service area has everything you need for emptying waste water and refilling with fresh water. The service point is automatic, but the very helpful owner regularly checks the area to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Thank you for everything.

We arrived at night and it was very difficult to find a spot, as some vehicles were parked using two spaces and some were difficult to access for a 7.40m motorhome. I understand that the owner isn't responsible, but could they try to find a suitable solution? Some streets had low tree branches, making it difficult for a 7.40m motorhome to navigate. The place is very nice, quiet, and very clean. The price is very good, as for €14 you get electricity, water filling and emptying services, a toilet in the area, and a cold shower.

The most peaceful aire. We stayed longer than planned as it was so good. Parking in your own little area with picnics benches. There is a toilet on site which was spotlessly clean. The owner comes round to check the site everyday. We heard the owls most evenings which was magical. The view over the mountains is perfect. The only downside is the other french vans just let their dogs out loose, they poo & don’t clean it up. It wouldn’t stop us staying again though as this seems normal in France.
