We went with family for a week and can’t fault the accommodation. We had a luxury camper and it was immaculately clean and the air con was honestly a god send in the heatwave, really great quality and the bathrooms and kitchen facilities were super. Felt very private too and lots of outside space. Everything we needed and more. Only small niggle was we weren’t warned in advance of the motorhomes not coming with much toilet roll/soap/dishwashing tabs so we were a little worried having arrived late that we’d be caught out. Luckily the shops down the road were open very early! The pool was good, we all had children under 10 and it was perfect for them. Especially when they found friends to play with. The slide kept them entertained for hours! It was much needed in the heatwave and we all managed to find sun loungers every day, even late morning and afternoon. Evening entertainment was often varied and hilarious. Great to have some variety and enough for everyone. Downsides were definitely the bar/restaurant and the lack of a little shop on site. The queues were absolutely ridiculous, particularly in the evening and we were often queuing for half an hour or more just to get some drinks. We witnessed a family being scolded for brining their own drinks to the bar which did seem a little unfair given the wait. The staff often seemed really stressed and that there wasn’t enough of them. When it was really busy, a couple of them seemed quite upset and running back and forward between customers. They were always polite however, and their English was often better than our French! They clearly work hard and it’s not a negative on them at all. Feel like the bar menu could do with some light snacks like crisps and nuts as well as some easy thinks like tzatziki served through the day. You’d make loads of money with just a few more offerings. Toilets and showers by the pool/restaurant were pretty bad. We tried not to use them at all!! Mostly though we had a lovely time and would recommend to families with young children looking for a fun, easy time away. Close to the shops and beaches and drives to other interesting places were feasible. Staff were polite and friendly and the site felt clean, comfortable and warm.
