A beautiful building with a strong identity. The beers are excellent. Precise, flavorful, clearly crafted with care. You can tell there’s real expertise behind it. The space itself is impressive, but the overall design (branding, the oversized “world’s best beer” sticker) doesn’t quite match what’s in the glass. It’s a shame the brand doesn’t look as good as it tastes. Looks aside, it delivers where it matters most. Beer 🍻

Amazing building and great venue. Service very friendly. Unfortunately the beers are very average and quite expensive but despite this the quality not so good. Slightly strange vibe with a much older clientele. The first time I have ever seen this in a beer tap room. Worth a visit for the venue.

Beers on tap and bottles, tapas, including plates of cheese (sprinkled with malted/roasted barley.... so that's why stout tastes as it does!) and charcuterie, brewery and distillery, superb location, beautifully refurbished; Cap d'Ona has arrived in Céret (well, closer to St Jean Pla de Corts really). Beer 😴s/aficionados can tour the brewery, then sit in glorious sunshine with the lower Pyrénées (Les Alberes) as a backdrop covered in cork oak forests (tallest one in the world is in Reynès in Gunness Book of Records btw!). The building used to be a cigarette paper factory built by one of the Bardou/JOB family who also owned nearby Château Aubiry. Fred (of Atelier Fred fame in Céret) is the most welcoming, hardworking patron I've ever come across. He prepares the tapas, brings to your table, clears tables, and conducts the brewery tours; all the while smiling and chatting to customers. It's a nice alternative to the usual bar or restaurant evening. Not within easy walking distance of Céret so maybe a navette for haute saison l'année prochaine ?

We had a brewery tour then proceeded to try various beers in the sun. It was excellent and I’d definitely recommend. Fred was our tour guide and spoke brilliant English!
