My Favorite Beach in Canet This is my favorite beach in Canet-en-Rousillon , in fact it is my favorite beach on this part of the coast. It beats Toreilles & Barcaroles etc, hands down. The reason many people mentioned already is essentially the sand. It is really a soft sand beach and is large enough and has all the amenities you could expect. It is a really nice spot and will definitely come back soon.

Lovely sandy beach, with lots of families enjoying the sunshine. Be sure to pack something that gives you a bit of shade as it can get really hot. The sea was shallow so made it really kid friendly.

The beaches here are actually all the same. Away from the towns, they are wonderfully lonely and empty. With the places that are always a kind of hotel castles, Aqualand, summer fun, entertainment events, I wonder who vacations here. Nothing for me.
