Camping with a large aquatic complex and direct beach access in Canet-en-Roussillon
This place is amazing! The sea is close, the pools have salted water, no chlorine, and this is AMAZING! The campus is super clean, the houses are great and the staff is Fenomenal! It's the second year we go there, and they keep improving things. And if you plan on getting the WiFi and are scared that it does not work, IT DOES! EVERYWHERE!
Nice stay at Mar Estang,we booked a caravan through booking.com, Caravan was really modern and clean, €130 deposit to the owner who met us there. No problem at all,you do have to clean the caravan to a high standard on leaving but cleaning materials are provided. The site was good very clean but as expected was directed towards French tourist,all entertainment was in French which was still enjoyable. Fantastic pool area and slides, really good pools for young children. No shorts allowed in the pool you must wear Speedo type swim wear. There's a shop on site and a bakery which was really good for fresh bread. Nice bar and outdoor seating area,the bar man was really nice and did speak English. The beach is 5 minutes walk but the far end of the main town area but there are still shops and bars and lots of ice cream shops,there is a Dotti bus which you can catch outside which will take you to many parts of the area for just €3 one way or buy a day pass The main town is very quite with lovely bars and eateries. The beach is fantastic,very clean with shacks along the way to choose from. All the French people we met were friendly and appreciate you doing your little bit of French language as most don't speak English. Alcohol in bars I found to be expensive,€7 for a beer €12 for a cocktail but food was probably the same price as in England. If your looking for a town with loads of Entertainment and night life this is not the place to go, if your looking for beach walks and relaxing Yes. A bus ride or drive to Perpignan is worth doing for the day,some nice history in the town.

Great place for Holidays. Plenty of amenities and activities for everyone. Onsite Bakery, grocery store, pub, restaurant and cafe. Activities pre arranged for adults and children. 4 pools with water slides and play equipment for the kids. Bike rental also. Across from beach and beach pubs and restaurants.
Everything you need in one place. Mobile homes are clean and well equipped. Bit of a language barrier which was surprising considering it’s a holiday village! Beautiful beach is only 5 min walking distance from private secure gate entrance. Security is very good with manned main entrance and key code gate to beach. Just make sure you leave it in a clean condition or you’ll have to pay 130 euros for cleaning!
