A neighbor had to call emergency services (15: 15 in France) because I was feeling unwell, and the fire department (18) from Canet (66140) was dispatched to find me (about 12 minutes after the call). After a methodical series of questions, I was taken to the emergency room... Thank you to the team who were very responsive. PS: Some people confuse 15, 17, or 18 and then vent their anger on volunteers or professionals who are looking after others! What a sad world! But to err is human, and so are mood swings! I'm shocked to read that they're coming out for an animal when my niece fell heavily on the ground, suspected of having a fracture and dislocated shoulder, and they told us we had to take her ourselves, even though she was lying on the ground in pain and has a known bone condition. We struggled to carry her and get her into the car, risking injuring her even more. This summer, my daughter fainted on the beach, and we got the same answer: take her to the emergency room ourselves! It's madness! I'm not from Canet, but here there's absolutely no help for people...☹️

To the firefighter with the Twingo DR 903 something: Next time you cut me off in front of your station, trying to be on time or whatever, I'll give you a driving lesson in front of your colleagues that you won't soon forget. It's behavior like that that ends up on a stretcher.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! After the intense heat of the past few days, a quick trip to the emergency room accompanied by the Canet firefighters, then on to the Medipôle hospital. A fantastic team! Professional and caring, kind, attentive, and reassuring firefighters... We promise, Parisians will come back in the fall to escape the Occitan heat.
