The location of Côté Thalasso in Banyuls sur Mer is absolutely beautiful. You get the sea on one side and mountains on the other, with lots of hiking trails, places to swim, and nice walks in town. The room was spacious and fine, but the bed was uncomfortable. It was two beds pushed together and I ended up stuck in the middle on my first night, which left me with a swollen arm for the rest of the trip. Plus, the massages were a rip off. The biggest issue was the atmosphere and hospitality. Most locals felt cold or even rude. Maybe that is just how it is here, but it did not feel welcoming at all. The food was decent, though. Beautiful setting, but not a place I would return to unless I am much older (if I make it till my 70s).

Wonderful stay at Côté Ouest Thalasso & Spa! We came with a child and a baby, and the staff kindly provided everything we needed—extra bed, cot, changing table, even a bassinet. The sea is close by, there’s a fun play area for kids, and the boat theme throughout the hotel is fantastic. The lobby with board games felt so welcoming. Staff were truly lovely! 🌊⚓

Earlier this year (2025) I spent a week for my third stay at Cote Thalasso. I am a return customer who appreciates the spa, great dining and comfortable rooms. Another important reason for having chosen Cote Thalasso is that my dog was welcome in the hotel space. I highly recommend Cote Thalasso Banyuls.

Lovely location overlooking the sea. Staff speak good English despite not seeing many foreigners there. Indoor and outdoor pools are very well maintained and clean with drinks served to you if you wish. Standard rooms are standard fare and clean, with adequate facilities. Makes for a great place to just chill out for a while. Pace of life here seems lovely and slow. One little thing - unfortunately its location is so high that there are no shops about, can't pop out to get stuff without it being a trek. But otherwise absolutely amazing, call into the hotel to book a room for the best prices instead of booking. Com

We spent fantastic 2 days in SPA. The service was very pleasant, staring from the email several days before and proposing us to arrive earlier to enjoy the Spa before the check in ( and also after check out). The outdoor pool with sea water is a pure pleasure! The rooms are renovated, clean and cosy. We also had a lunch on the restaurant, it was delicious! Happy to come back again! Merci beau coupe!
