One of the best meals I have had in my life. Lovely service too, and good value for the quality. And you get more than 12.5cl in a glass of wine. Wonderful experience.

Recommended to us by a long time local. A solid experience overall. Service good and the dishes were tasty. We split up an entree/plat and an entree/dessert. Can recommend and would return.

Cozy little restaurant with limited number of tables. Food is nice but the menu is quite limited to a few things and portions are small but the price is ok. We had the tuna, the rice and the hake. The first two were nice but the hake was way too salty and we left half of it. We told the waiter who replied with an "ah" and didn't bother to try it or to apologize at all, with an attitude like "je m'en fous". It's a shame because trying to do something about it or just say sorry about it would have kept the experience positive but these are the little things that disappoint clients and make you want to not go back again or not to recommend the place.

Friendly staff, outdoor seating, fantastic food! Good for families as the square has a play area for the children. The sharing food concept works well with the kids too because they can try several things and eat what they like (a nice change from the burger/nuggets and fries kids menus found everywhere else). When we arrived in the town centre it was one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday evening and it didn’t look terribly special, but it was absolutely amazing. We had the house wine, which was excellent, and as there were 4 of us we ordered nearly everything from the menu, all the food was delicious.

Have visited La Quête twice during my stay in the region. It stands head and shoulders above most other restaurants. Cyrille and Luc are great hosts and run an excellent bistro. Expect small plates menu but excellent ingredients and some classic and modern French cuisine. The small plates are well priced and allow you (me) to satisfy my gourmandise and try lots of different flavours. Highly recommended.
