The terrace of L’Hostalet Hotel is my must do whenever I am fortunate enough to visit the lovely village of Argeles Sur Mer. The peaceful atmosphere of the L’Hostalet terrace provides a distinct contrast to the busy Argeles Plage. The terrace is situated behind the hotel under a canopy of trees in the charming Place De Republique, enjoying a brilliant coffee and breakfast in the morning or a snack with a local wine in the afternoon or evening is a must do at least a few times while in the area. The owners and hosts, Mat and Jonathan, could not be more gracious and helpful, always reminding me when I leave that I will come back. L’Hostalet terrace and hotel will always my first recommendation to anyone visiting the Languedoc-Roussillon.
