I was looking for an artisanal bakery, and I felt like I'd stepped into an episode of "The Factory and the Vacationers." The products gave me the impression of being more the product of industrial preparation than genuine baking expertise. The service? Let's just say that between the conversations, phone calls, and general commotion between the owner and her staff, you have to enjoy a playground atmosphere. For the rest, I mainly felt a very seasonal approach, geared towards tourists passing through. Personally, I prefer to support artisans who knead their bread as much as they build their reputation. I won't be back, but I thank the establishment for reminding me why real bakers still exist.

Passing through Argelès-sur-Mer on a 5-day camping holiday, I went to buy my small traditional baguette every morning and some delicious pain au chocolat. I didn't get a chance to try the pastries, but they looked delicious in the display case. The atmosphere and the saleswomen are very warm and welcoming.

While passing through Argeles, we had a bakery near our accommodation. The bread is delicious and always fresh, even the next day! The rolls and croissants 🥐 are tasty, and the pastries are divine. Don't hesitate to stop by this bakery; the saleswoman is very friendly and pleasant! We'll gladly come back 🙂🙂
