We ordered a medium rare and medium cooked steak. Both were tough and hard. The fries were also very short and tiny as if it was the last batch from the bottom of the bag. The waiter asked us our opinion on the steak but didn’t do anything about it when I told him it was a tough and hard steak, very bad. So I have gathered some tips for the cook, you’re welcome!!! An entrecôte (ribeye cut) turns hard and chewy when it is overcooked past medium-rare, cooked in a pan that isn't hot enough, sliced parallel to the muscle grain instead of across it, or carved immediately without letting the juices rest. Common Causes of Tough Entrecôte…. Overcooking: Heating beef past 54°C (130°F) tightens muscle fibers rapidly and forces out moisture. Low Pan Heat: Searing in a lukewarm pan slowly dries out and grays the meat rather than creating a crust. Wrong Slicing Angle: Cutting with the grain leaves long, chewy muscle strands intact. Skipping Rest Time: Cutting the steak right away causes flavorful juices to run out onto the board. How to Fix and Prevent It? High Heat: Use a smoking-hot skillet to sear the surface fast. Pull Early: Remove the steak from heat just before it reaches your final target temperature. Rest: Let the meat sit for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Cut Against the Grain: Slice perpendicular to the direction of the muscle fibers. Good luck!

The food is really good and well prepared for the price “compliments to the chef”. We were 10 of us eating there and ordered all kind of different dishes. The service is nice and quick. Only bad point is that people are allowed to smoke and even if it’s an open space it’s annoying when you’re eating.

Amazing service from Said. The bass and beef were great . The rabbit was a bit dry but overall everything was very good including the pavlova
