Great as long as you’re not trying to speak English. I don’t expect anyone to understand me ever if I go to a none English speaking country and try to speak English. I can in fact understand a lot of french. However, I don’t need someone being arsey with me and saying in french “you’re in France speak French”. If you can’t understand me be polite and ask me to speak French don’t have a go at me right as I’m about to pay. The lady serving me was very lucky I didn’t walk away. Lovely ice cream though and a previous time when I spoke French and ordered with a different man the crêpe and service were both great.
