As campers with a caravan, we would have appreciated it if it had been made clearer that there are only a limited number of camping pitches and that the rest of the accommodation consists only of mobile homes. The pitches that are available are located along the side and are quiet and tidy. The water point was quite far away, and the sanitary building was even further. The showers in the sanitary building required you to keep pressing the button continuously to get water. The baby bath had no plug, and there was hardly any warm water coming out. There was no soap at the toilets, and none of the toilets had toilet seats. During our stay, it turned out that on the first night another camper had used the wrong electricity cable, causing a short circuit during the rainstorm, which meant there was no electricity the first night. Unfortunately, the electricity went out another five times, and we had no electricity every night. Since we have young children, we were awake during the nights. Every morning we had to look for someone on the campsite because the reception only opened at 9 a.m. As a result, we could no longer use our freezer. The electricity also failed during the day, forcing us to go back to reception again. There were absolutely no apologies from the receptionist. The man who had to switch the electricity back on each time even seemed annoyed about it. We do not understand how you can create camping pitches with such a poor electricity network. Or, if nothing can be done about it, at least management could acknowledge that it is a frustrating situation. On the positive side, the swimming pool is well heated, the bakery is good, and the people working at the campsite are friendly. However, charging €6.50 for a 7 kg washing machine without detergent is really far too expensive!
