This restaurant is terrible!! The homemade paella wasn't great, and we didn't eat the mussels marinière because they weren't to our taste and simply lacked flavor. This displeased the manager, who told us to get lost on the bill and blamed the poor waiter, who was completely innocent. Travelers beware, avoid this place!!! Very disappointing. And yes, we left a review as you recommended; we certainly won't be back.
The waiter was very pleasant, but there was a slight issue with the manager. She was friendly at first but became very unpleasant, even aggressive, towards the end of our meal. The mussels marinière we were served were not to our liking, which displeased the manager, who spoke to us very curtly. The rest of the dishes we ordered were nothing special. We were surprised when the bill arrived; the mussels were charged for (even though we only ate two)... and there was no attempt at compensation.
A warm welcome; the owner is clearly trying to win back customers. The fish parillada was more of a fish casserole, but it was tasty and plentiful. The grilled lobster was also good, as was the homemade aioli. The owner offered a glass of sparkling rosé at the end of the meal, but it was a bit harsh! In conclusion, good without being exceptional, but worth a visit.
A pathetic tourist trap! This restaurant (which isn't really a crêperie) is extremely well located, and that's its only redeeming quality. As for the rest, the service is appalling (waiters who seem to have just arrived and can't even take an order properly, and if you want bread—stale bread—or a carafe of water, you'll only get it when the hefty bill arrives). You have a choice between two set menus (around €20 and €30 respectively) or the à la carte menu. The €30 menu advertises a 300-400g lobster. It looks more like a large crayfish, and the advertised weight probably includes the plate. For dessert, you might be lucky enough to order a homemade fruit salad for €7.50! At that price, you'd expect a bowl or a glass with exceptional contents! Not at all! In a small, uninspiring bowl, you'll find a few pieces of banana, pear/apple/kiwi, some grapes, and that's it! No hidden gem to justify the price! Well, I must admit one thing: the food wasn't poisoned, and no one got sick. I'm still very surprised to read positive reviews about this establishment; you'd think they were written by the owner himself! If you want to eat better, look around a bit; there are plenty of decent restaurants, even in this area.
Excellent value for money at this little restaurant! The two waitresses are very professional and always smiling, which is lovely to see, especially in the off-season! The menus are nice and very good; I recommend it to anyone on a budget who's worried about being disappointed when trying to eat out!
